My journey to becoming a chef began in the realms of visual art as a painter and fashion designer, where I initially channeled my creative energy by obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. It wasn't until later that I discovered my true passion for food was, in essence, my art. Growing up in a vibrant Haitian household with a large family of eight siblings, the love of hospitality was deeply ingrained in me, thanks to my Mom’s warm and inviting approach to cooking. Her culinary skills were the heart of our home, and the love, joy, and care that she transmitted through each deliciously crafted meal. She unknowingly would shape the chef that I am today.
Encouraged by friends, family, and my supportive husband, who repeatedly praises my culinary creations, I realized that my love for cooking was more than just a labor of love—it was my gift to share with the world. This realization set me on a new path, where I could blend creativity and hospitality into the art of culinary expression.
From the vibrant world markets of the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Asia, and South America to the street food stalls of bustling cities, my travels have further ignited my passion for cooking and inspired me to develop a profound appreciation for the art of cooking. I’m honored to share this journey with you as your chef. I’m here to bring global, national, and local flavors coupled with 20 years of hands-on traditions to your table.
